Edinburgh Metalwork, founded and led by Sandy McBain, brings together expertise in metal fabrication, traditional blacksmithing, forging and precision CNC profiling. From individual commissions to complex commercial and industrial projects, we offer a comprehensive metalwork service, delivering the capability and expertise required to take a project from initial concept through to completion.

Designer & Executive AssistantSophie Carpenter
Creative, considered and passionate about design, Sophie brings a thoughtful and personal approach to every project. Qualified in product design, she works closely with clients from the outset, taking the time to understand their vision, preferences and the character of the space.
Combining creativity with a practical understanding of fabrication and forging, Sophie develops designs that are achievable, distinctive and true to the client whilst remaining a key contact throughout your project.
